CULTURAL EXCHANGE/CHINA GOVERNMENT SCHOLARSHIPS PROGRAMME FOR year 2017

Application forms and online deposit slips are available on our website www.nts.org.pk
Applications must be received by NTS not later than 14-11-2016.
NTS will not be responsible for late receipt of applications sent through post.
Please deposit online through the prescribed deposit slip in the online branches of ABL, UBL, MCB or HBL. Application form and online deposit slip are available on NTS website.
Candidates are required to send their applications to NTS Headquarters, Islamabad on prescribed forms along with online deposit slip (original).
Candidate can also use printout of webpage containing their test related information as roll no. slip.
Deposited amount is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
Applications submitted by hand will not be entertained.

OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
1.
Maximum age limit is 35 years on the closing date of applications.
2.
Applicants having more than one second division in their academic career are not eligible to apply.
3.
Attested copies of each supporting document (Matric to onward) including domicile certificate, must be sent with the application. The professional degree holders B.Sc Engg / MBBS, B.Sc/BS (Hons) should submit detailed marks certificate of each year.
4.
The scholarships are awarded on merit determined on the basis of NTS Test score, observing Provincial/ Regional quota.
5.
The candidates will have to take Language Course of the respective country (if applicable).

Students awaiting results are not eligible to apply.
HOW TO APPLY:
The Ministry of Inter Provincial Coordination (IPC) has assigned the task of conducting the GRE (Local) Subject wise test to the National Testing Service (NTS) for the subject scholarships.
Applications are invited for study abroad under the Cultural Exchange/China Government Scholarships Programme for the year 2017 for Master's and Ph.D studies in various subjects. The scholarships are expected from China, and Other Countries. These scholarships are Fully Funded as the donor countries provide tuition fee, accomodation and monthly living allowance, which varies from country to country.


ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
The candidates must have completed Sixteen Years Education that is MA / MSc OR must hold four (04) years B.Sc/BS (Hons) in any subject, B.Sc (Engg), MBBS in the relevant field.

 Inclusive Education Scholarship Program




The Inclusive Education Scholarship Program offers awards to individuals from China, Czech Republic, Ukraine, and selected countries in Africa and Latin America for an 18-month master of education degree.
The program’s objective is to provide education advocates and professionals with a foundation in the principles, values, and practices of inclusive education so that they will be equipped to lead reform of education policy and practice in their home countries.
With the knowledge and networks gained through the program, we expect that scholars will deepen their understanding of all aspects of inclusion and play active roles in devising and implementing inclusive practices and policies.

Eligibility Criteria : 

The competition is merit-based and open to those meeting the following criteria:
  • be a citizen and legal resident of Argentina, China, Czech Republic, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Peru, Sudan, South Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Ukraine, Zambia, or Zimbabwe at the time of application
  • have work experience in education with a demonstrated interest in advancing inclusive education
  • have an excellent academic record with a bachelor’s degree in teaching, public administration/policy, anthropology, social work, psychology, or related field—degree must be awarded by application deadline
  • have demonstrated leadership in the field of education
  • be proficient in spoken and written English and able to meet university-designated minimum scores on standardized language tests
  • be able to participate in an intensive academic writing program in Summer 2017
  • be able to begin the graduate program in August 2017
  • be able to receive and maintain visa or study permit to the United States
  • demonstrate a clear commitment to return to home country to contribute to advancing inclusive education in their national contexts

Ineligibility Criteria :  

Employees of the Open Society Foundations and employees of local administering organizations (and their immediate family members) who are directly involved in the administration of scholarships are not eligible, nor are individuals receiving other Open Society Foundations–funded support during the scholarship period

INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT SCIENCES PESHAWAR

 

Keeping in view the expectations of the financially needy but talented applicants of the region,
IMSciences is rigorously working alongside international development organizations,
corporate sector and donor agencies to provide equal higher education opportunities to the
marginalized communities of FATA and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa specifically and the country at
large.
Last year, IMSciences has funded a significant number of students who had financial
constraints and were unable to continue their education. In session 2015-2016, a total of 1931
students which is 67.65 % of the total strength, has been provided financial support worth Rs.
164.65/- Million, in the form of need-and-merit based scholarships, interest free student
loans, siblings-fee-rebate, work study and global cultural exchange programs.
The following is the detail of all financial aid / scholarship programmes which are available
and operational at IMSciences for the needy and talented students.

PAK - USAID Fully Funded Need Based Merit Scholarships for MBA
(3.5 Years)

 The scholarship covers full tuition fee and monthly stipend
(accommodation, books, travelling and incidentals) of the said scholarship holders. These scholarship
programs are targeted towards MBA (3.5 Years).
This year the Institute of Management Sciences has been awarded a total of 4 scholarships (3 for
Female and 1 for male) under the said Program. Students from marginalized and less developed areas
such as Karak, Swabi, Charsadda, districts in Peshawar outskirts, D.I. Khan, Lakki Marwat, FATA
Agencies and Frontier Regions, Malakand Division, Gilgit & Baltistan and the whole country at large,
are encouraged to apply.

IMSciences Fully Funded FATA Scholarship Program for
The initial two years of MBA (3.5)

 

 At graduate level these scholarships are awarded in the
discipline of MBA (3.5). The award covers full tuition fee
support and monthly stipend for transportation, accommodation, books and incidental
charges for the whole duration of these study programmes in IMSciences. This year a total of
eight (8) scholarships will be awarded.




Prime Minister’s Tuition Fee Reimbursement Scheme for Masters / MS and
Ph. D Students of Less Developed Areas

 

 The Federal Government, in move to support the educational sector of less
developed areas, provides 100% tuition fee, registration charges, admission
charges and other approved on/off mandatory charges to the following eligible areas’
students in Masters / MS / PhD Degree Programs. Under this scheme, IMSciences facilitated
more than 1000 students. The scheme is focused on enhancing opportunities for access to
higher education especially to talented but financially constrained students belonging to
remote and far flung areas of the country who despite possessing academic merit, are unable
to finance their education. The fee disbursement would be ensured through a transparent and
well defined mechanism.

IMSciences facilitated more than 1000 students under this valuable scheme. The scheme is

this innovative and special scheme, along with tuition fee, the federal government have paid
academic, incidental, or mandatory fees charged by educational institutions as one-off or on a

IMSciences Merit Based Partial Scholarships 

 

IMSciences Partial Scholarships are merit based and awarded to graduate level
students depending on IMSciences admission aggregate merit list. This
scholarship program is available in all graduate level programs. At the graduate
level sixty five (65) percent fee relaxation is provided to scholarship holders. Selected students are
tenable to hold their scholarships for the whole duration of the program.

IMSciences Trust Semester Wise Merit Scholarships

These scholarships are purely based on merit and are granted to the most intelligent students of
IMSciences who demonstrate their intellectual capabilities and achieve the maximum GPA in each
Semester.

Dr. Hidayatullah Need Based Merit Scholarships

This scholarship program is established and funded by the faculty and staff members of IMSciences for
the benefit of those financially needy students who face financial hindrances in the middle or final
stages of their study program.

IMSciences Brother Sister Fee Rebate

Through this programme, IMSciences offers 50% fee rebate to students if their brother/sister study at
IMSciences. A total of 115 students were awarded fee rebate during session 2015.

 Workers Welfare Board Directorate of Education Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
Scholarship Program for All Study Programs

 

This program is administered by Workers Welfare Board, Directorate of Education
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for the benefit of those students whose parents are registered
labor employees in industrial sector of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The
scholarship covers full tuition fee support and other charges including transport, accommodation,
library and computer lab charges.
